Job summary

SCSS is seeking a Research Data Scientist to transform complex pathology data into insights that support groundbreaking research and improve health outcomes. You will develop research-ready datasets, build dashboards and reporting solutions, and advise on data management, analytics and privacy.

Working with researchers, data specialists and stakeholders, you will tackle complex data challenges and deliver analytics solutions that drive evidence-based decisions across South Australia.

About the role

As a Research Data Scientist, you'll transform complex pathology data into meaningful insights that support ground breaking research, inform strategic decisions and improve health outcomes. Working within SA Pathology's Research and Innovation team, you'll develop research-ready datasets, build dashboards and reporting solutions, and provide expert advice on data management, analytics and privacy.

Working closely with researchers, data specialists and key stakeholders, you'll solve complex data challenges, develop innovative analytics solutions and turn raw data into actionable insights. This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical expertise to advance research and make a genuine impact on healthcare across South Australia.
