This is a unique chance for an experienced APS6 Requirements Management and Analysis Technical Specialist to support the Australian Submarine Agency (ASA), contributing to a nationally significant defence initiative that will shape Australia’s security, workforce, industrial capability and supply chains for decades to come.
Working within the Australian Submarine Agency environment, the Requirements Management and Analysis Technical Specialist (APS6) is accountable (under broad direction and with a high degree of autonomy) for providing technical expertise, systems administration support, analysis and stakeholder engagement to enable effective requirements management and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices.
The acquisition of conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines is an historic and transformative endeavour for Australia. This whole-of-nation effort will transform Australia’s economic and national security landscape for decades to come.
You will support the governance, implementation, continuous improvement and user adoption of the Requirements Management System (RMS) and associated engineering toolsets, ensuring requirements, architectures, design artefacts and traceability information are managed in accordance with organisational standards and systems engineering best practice.
