Job summary

The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is seeking a proactive Project Officer to support the Trade Skills and Renewables programs in a flexible job-share arrangement. You will coordinate programs, events and governance activities, delivering high-quality administrative and project support to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Qualification in vocational education is highly desirable.
• Experience in operational administration, executive support, governance, finance, records management or stakeholder coordination is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting project delivery, stakeholder engagement, reporting, governance or business improvement activities is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level operational, project and business support to the College Director and Leadership Team.
• Coordinate programs, projects, events and business activities, ensuring effective planning, delivery and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, briefs, grant documentation and compliance records.
• Support renewable energy projects, including milestones, deliverables, budgets and risk management activities.
• Research, analyse and present information to support planning, decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with industry, government, community and educational stakeholders.
• Manage complex, sensitive and time-critical matters with professionalism, discretion and accuracy.
• Coordinate administrative processes and workflows that support efficient and consistent business operations.
• Work collaboratively within the job share arrangement to maintain effective handovers, continuity of work and achievement of team objectives.
