Job summary

Fuse Energy, LLC is seeking a Renewable Energy Infrastructure Development Lead to drive solar and battery storage projects from early-stage opportunities to energisation. You will assess sites for technical and regulatory fit, and shape grid connection strategies with AEMO and DNSPs, while coordinating permitting and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires strong project leadership, deep understanding of solar PV and storage integration, and familiarity with Australian planning and grid

Qualifications

• Experience leading utility-scale solar, BESS, or large renewable infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding of solar PV, storage integration, and grid interconnection.
• Familiarity with Australian planning frameworks, AEMO processes, and DNSP negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead solar and BESS projects from early-stage opportunity through Ready-to-Build and energisation.
• Assess sites from technical, planning, grid, and infrastructure perspectives.
• Develop grid connection and power export strategies with AEMO, DNSPs, and network service providers.
• Support planning, permitting, and stakeholder engagement processes.
• Identify and mitigate technical and development risks across generation and storage assets.
• Ensure projects are deliverable, scalable, and aligned with construction and commissioning requirements.
