Job summary

Veradilla-based rendering operation is seeking a Rendering Plant Operator to join a 24-hour production environment, turning by-products into tallow while upholding quality and safety standards. You will operate and monitor plant equipment, manage materials, and ensure records are accurately completed.

The role offers ongoing full-time hours, a rotating shift roster, and a supportive team within a large-scale processing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, food processing, rendering, production or industrial operations.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work rotating day, afternoon and night shifts.
• Commitment to workplace safety and food quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate rendering plant equipment (grinders, cookers, decanters, separators, presses, dryers).
• Receive, load and process raw materials through rendering operation.
• Monitor cooking temperatures, production flow and operating parameters.
• Complete production, quality and temperature records accurately.
• Inspect finished tallow and identify quality issues.
• Follow HACCP, food safety and traceability requirements.
• Perform cleaning, sanitation and basic maintenance tasks.
• Report equipment faults and production issues promptly.
• Safely work around steam, hot products and moving machinery.
• Load out finished product and maintain stock levels.

Our client is a leading food manufacturing and processing operation seeking a Rendering Plant Operator to join their team in Veradilla. Working within a 24-hour production environment, you will play a key role in processing by-products into tallow while ensuring quality, safety and production targets are met.

Shift Times Rotating Roster Across

• 5:30am - 1:00pm
• 1:30pm - 9:30pm
• 9:30pm - 5:30am

Weekend work and additional shifts may be required depending on production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor rendering plant equipment including grinders, cookers, decanters, separators, presses and dryers
