Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ is hiring a Rendering Plant Operator in Veradilla for a 24-hour production environment, turning by-products into tallow while upholding quality and safety.

The role offers full-time hours with a rotating shift roster and training provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities include operating rendering equipment, monitoring temperatures and production flow, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Operate rendering plant equipment (grinders, cookers, decanters, separators, presses, dryers).
• Receive, load and process raw materials in rendering operation.
• Monitor temperatures, production flow and operating parameters.
• Complete production, quality and temperature records accurately.
• Inspect finished tallow for quality issues and ensure HACCP compliance.
• Perform cleaning, sanitation and basic maintenance tasks.
• Report equipment faults and production issues promptly.
• Work safely around steam, hot products and moving machinery.
• Load out finished product and maintain stock levels.

Our client is a leading food manufacturing and processing operation seeking a Rendering Plant Operator to join their team in Veradilla. Working within a 24-hour production environment, you will play a key role in processing by-products into tallow while ensuring quality, safety and production targets are met.

Shift Times Rotating roster across:

• 5:30am - 1:00pm
• 1:30pm - 9:30pm
• 9:30pm - 5:30am

Weekend work and additional shifts may be required depending on production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor rendering plant equipment including grinders, cookers, decanters, separators, presses and dryers
• Receive, load and process raw materials through the rendering operation
• Monitor cooking temperatures, production flow and operating parameters
• Complete production, quality and temperature records accurately
• Inspect finished tallow and identify any quality issues
• Follow HACCP, food safety and traceability requirements
• Perform cleaning, sanitation and basic operational maintenance tasks
• Report equipment faults and production issues promptly
• Safely work around steam, hot products and moving machinery
• Load out finished product and maintain stock levels as required

About You

• Previous experience in manufacturing, food processing, rendering, production or industrial operations
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Comfortable working in hot, humid and physically demanding environments
• Ability to work rotating day, afternoon and night shifts
• Commitment to workplace safety and food quality standards
• Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
