Job summary

Stanbroke is seeking a dependable Renderer for our Gatton plant to support by-products processing and maintain high safety and AQIS standards. The role involves operating SCADA gauges, handling chemicals, and performing manual tasks in a fast-paced facility.

You will work within a team on 24-hour rotating shifts, with overtime as needed, contributing to reliable and efficient plant operations at our modern processing site.

Qualifications

• Experience in processing or manufacturing, preferably in by-products or rendering.
• Chemical Handling Certification or willingness to undertake training.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and reading gauges.
• Strong WHS understanding and lockout procedures.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to WHS protocols including lockout procedures for water, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Safely handle and manage chemicals with required training.
• Clean machinery and processing areas per AQIS standards using hoses and foam.
• Understand and apply by-products processing procedures practically and theoretically.
• Accurately complete and manage English-written documentation.
• Monitor and operate SCADA systems and gauges.
• Rotate on a 24-hour roster (three 8-hour shifts) with occasional overtime.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient plant operations.

The Role:

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-focused Renderer to support the smooth operation of our Gatton plant. This hands-on role involves working with by-products processing, adhering to high safety standards, and ensuring compliance with AQIS and other industry requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to WHS protocols, including lockout procedures for water, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Safely handle and manage chemicals (Chemical Handling Certificate preferred or willingness to complete training).
• Clean machinery and processing areas, utilising hosing and foaming techniques to AQIS standards.
• Understand and apply by-products processing procedures both practically and theoretically.
• Accurately complete and manage English-written documentation.
• Monitor and operate SCADA systems and gauges.
• You have flexibility to work a rotating 24-hour roster (three 8-hour shifts) with occasional overtime as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and reliable plant operations.

About You

• You have experience in a processing or manufacturing role, particularly in by-products or rendering, is preferred.
• Chemical Handling Certification or willingness to undertake training.
