Job summary

Chandler Macleod seeks a reliable Production Operator to join a high-performing production team in Adelaide. You will operate machinery, follow SOPs, and maintain WHS and food safety standards to ensure quality output.

Shift is Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with a pay rate of $32.18 per hour and ASAP start. You will weigh and mix ingredients, perform necessary paperwork, and support continuous improvement across production areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment (food manufacturing highly regarded).
• Strong WHS knowledge and safe work practices (PPE, hazard reporting, incident reporting).
• Ability to follow SOPs, meet targets and maintain attention to detail.
• Understanding of Food Safety / HACCP / GMP (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery in line with SOPs.
• Set up and prepare equipment prior to production runs.
• Weigh and mix ingredients to production requirements.
• Work with Inventory Controller to ensure efficient staging of materials.
• Manage receipt/consignment of goods and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and in real time.
• Perform cleaning and sanitising tasks in line with hygiene and food safety standards.
• Operate a forklift where licensed/authorised and in line with site procedures.
• Support across production areas as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

What we’re looking for

• Prior experience in a production / manufacturing environment (food manufacturing highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of WHS and safe work practices (PPE, hazard reporting, incident reporting)
• Ability to follow SOPs, meet targets and maintain attention to detail
• Understanding of Food Safety / HACCP / GMP (highly regarded)
• Forklift licence (LF) advantageous if required for the role
