Job summary

NSW Health invites applications for the Clinical Nurse Educator role in Renal Ambulatory Care at St Vincent’s Public Hospital, Sydney. The position is a permanent full-time opportunity with a 0700–1600 Monday–Friday schedule and occasional PM shifts for training new staff.

Salary ranges from $124,273.70 to $128,301.89 plus super. Actively contribute to education planning for staff across renal services, including haemodialysis and transplant programs.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with Division 1 registration and APHRA eligibility.
• Post‑graduate qualification in clinical education or equivalent; or 4+ years post‑registration including 3+ years in relevant field.
• Certificate IV in workplace training and education, or willingness to undertake within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, implement and evaluate the clinical education needs of staff in collaboration with Nursing Unit Manager and Medical Stream Manager.
• Ensure equitable access to educational support and resources to enhance clinical competence.
• Ensure education is current and based on best available evidence.
