Job summary

Algolia in Australia is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to help customers adopt and scale our search & discovery platform. You will deliver technical onboarding, design solutions, and provide hands-on implementation support across diverse architectures.

The role requires solving complex problems, strong communication, and collaboration with Product and Engineering to build subject-matter expertise and maintain proactive customer success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role in SaaS.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (JS/Java/PHP/C#/Python/Swift).
• Experience with REST APIs, databases and web development tech.
• Experience delivering technical workshops and training.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultant, delivering ad-hoc services tailored to customer needs.
• Scope, shape and present technical workshops to drive adoption.
• Advise on best technical and industry practices for search implementation.
• Collaborate with CS Managers to ensure long-term customer health.
• Escalate for confirmation of solutions and options as needed.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to develop subject matter expertise.
• Develop and present comprehensive case reports on a regular schedule.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and bottlenecks with customers.
• Guide customers on optimising their environment usage.
