Job summary

Haste Recruitment is seeking an experienced Technical Director – Civil Engineering to lead the Australian Civil Engineering division for land development and building projects. The role offers full remote flexibility, with residency in Victoria to support local client relationships and delivery.

You will mentor engineers, shape service offerings, and drive business growth while collaborating with developers, architects and project managers.

Qualifications

• CPEng Civil Engineer is essential.
• 7–10 years’ experience delivering civil engineering projects in Melbourne.
• Strong background in land development and building developments.
• Experience with stormwater, drainage, earthworks, roads, subdivisions and site servicing.
• Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards and local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Australian Civil Engineering division.
• Provide technical leadership across land development and building‑related civil projects.
• Oversee designs for stormwater, drainage, earthworks, roads, subdivisions and site servicing.
• Manage projects from feasibility to construction support and delivery.
