Job summary

Clean Energy Regulator is seeking APS Level 5 professionals for a Technical Stream role under Affirmative Measures – Indigenous. The position supports national energy schemes and requires capability in policy interpretation and technical advisory delivery.

Flexible work arrangements are available with potential travel to Canberra. Roles are full time, with some opportunities for non-ongoing arrangements to be discussed during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting policy and providing actionable advice.
• Ability to research legislation and policy documents to inform decisions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage moderately complex technical analysis and advice under limited direction.
• Interpret technical requirements and translate them into practical advice, implementation options and process maps.
• Prepare clear written products including briefing material, reports and decision records.
• Coordinate review of incoming advice and consolidate feedback with stakeholders.
