Job summary

Telstra Health is seeking a Support Officer for the Leaving Violence Program to be a key contact for victim-survivors, delivering empathetic support via phone and digital channels in a fast-paced, trauma-informed environment.

You will document interactions across CRM/case management systems, assist with appointments/payments, and escalate risk when needed while upholding confidentiality and cultural safety.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent studies.
  • WWCC (Working with Children Check) current or equivalent.
  • Private, confidential workspace for remote work.
  • Reliable NBN internet and wired connection for Telstra Health devices.
  • Rostered availability for live shifts in a remote setting.
  • Pre-employment screening including NPC and references.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of back-to-back interactions via phone and digital channels.
  • Provide clear, accurate information about the Leaving Violence Program.
  • Assist with appointments, payments, and service-related enquiries.
  • Document interactions across CRM and case management systems.
  • Escalate risk or issues to specialist teams as required.
  • Deliver trauma-informed, person-centred support within policies.
