Axon in Australia is seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to help build and operate our real-time, cloud-native platforms. You will join a mission-driven team that values reliability, security, and rapid delivery, working across engineering to keep services resilient.

You’ll contribute to scalable infrastructure, automate pipelines, participate in on-call rotations, and mentor peers while advancing your skills in Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Solid background in software engineering, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Experience with Linux and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container tooling.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building and maintaining reliable, scalable cloud platforms.
• Apply SRE principles to improve stability and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code and automate tasks.
• Troubleshoot distributed cloud-native systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure service reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation for self-service capabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
