The role offers a 14:7 roster, on-site facilities, and opportunities for career growth, with a remuneration around 101,771 AUD plus superannuation and allowances.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate is essential.
• Experience in high-volume kitchens, preferably in upscale restaurants, village kitchens or hotels.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods and flavour combinations.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standards, following recipe plating guidelines.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques in high-volume catering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes to high standards, considering dietary requirements and guest preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, following Compass Group Australia food safety protocols, including knowledge of HACCP principles.
• Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all food.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage service efficiently during busy periods.
