Placements24 is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join a globally distributed team, working remotely to support mining operations. You will transform complex data into actionable insights that drive efficiency, safety, and profitability.

You will build dashboards with Tableau or Power BI, perform advanced SQL analyses, and collaborate with mine managers, engineers, and stakeholders to forecast needs and allocate resources for optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of data analysis experience, preferably with operational/industrial data.
• Advanced SQL and data manipulation skills.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially for remote teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency, cost reduction, and safety performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

Requirements
