Placements24 seeks a forward-thinking Remote Mine Planner to contribute to the long-term strategic development of mining assets. This hybrid role balances extensive remote planning with essential on-site collaboration to support major project execution.

You will use Deswik, Vulcan, and Surpac to create detailed 3D mine plans, assess economics, and optimize layouts, schedules, and equipment, working with geology, engineering, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in mine planning and design.
• Proficiency with Deswik, Vulcan, or Surpac.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term mine plans including open-pit or underground design, production scheduling and resource depletion strategies.

Key Responsibilities
