Job summary

BHP is seeking Dozer Push Operators to remotely manage semi-autonomous SATS dozers from a central control room at Goonyella Riverside Mine, Moranbah. The role includes manual dozer operation when SATS is offline, following supervision, and the 7-on/7-off or local roster.

Emphasis on safety, teamwork and a positive, proactive mindset. Strong push experience with bulk dozing, valid C-class license, and willingness to learn Caterpillar command technology are essential.

Qualifications

• Bulk Dozer Push experience with 24+ months in slot/bulk pushing.
• Current and competent D11 proficiency.
• A positive can-do attitude with focus on safety and efficiency.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to upskill in Caterpillar command technology.
• Valid C class manual unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Remotely operate SATS dozers from a central control room on site.
• Manually operate dozers when SATS is not in operation, as directed by supervisor.
• Adhere to safety standards and promote a productive, disciplined culture.
