Job summary

Itero Australia is seeking an experienced Scaffold Designer / Temporary Works Draftsperson to design high-consequence access systems for highly complex environments and load restricted assets.

The role involves reviewing client drawings, developing detailed layouts and loading plans, and producing designs for 3rd party and client engineering reviews, with a focus on innovative remote/work-from-home delivery and occasional site input.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial scaffold design and temporary works.
• Proficiency in Inventor 3D, AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Ability to review drawings and design for tendering.

Responsibilities

• Review scope and client drawings and import into design software accurately.
• Collaborate with operations, supervisors, and access SMEs to identify effective access methodologies.
• Design and draft concept designs to enable accurate tendering of the scope.
• Develop detailed scaffold layouts, loading plans, tie schedules, and encapsulation designs for engineering review.
• Provide accurate loading calculations for engineering review and draft custom component fabrications.
• Review client drawings and conduct occasional site visits or design reviews.
• Develop final designs ready for mobilisation for third party and client reviews.
