Job summary

BePositive Therapy in Hobart & Launceston seeks a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner to manage a NDIS caseload and deliver high-quality Positive Behaviour Support. You will access guidance, tools, and resources to achieve meaningful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Psychology, Social Work, Allied Health or related).
• 2–3 years’ experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or similar in NDIS/ disability sector.
• Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and person-centred practice.
• Experience conducting assessments and developing behaviour support plans.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Compassionate, client-focused approach; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Manage own NDIS caseload and deliver Positive Behaviour Support.
• Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop evidence-based plans.
• Develop and implement behaviour support plans with clear objectives.
• Participate in clinical supervision and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Collaborate with families, carers and other professionals for holistic care.
