Apex Health Professionals is seeking a qualified Behaviour Support Practitioner to develop and implement tailored behaviour support plans, collaborating with clients, families and support teams to reduce challenging behaviours and promote skill development.

Ideal candidates hold a BSP at Proficient level, with NDIS registration and a current Working with Children Check; a relevant degree and at least 2 years' experience are required. Flexible, remote supervision options available.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Proficient or above).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Driver's License.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or challenging behaviours.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct behaviour assessments and develop evidence-based behaviour support plans.
• Implement strategies that enhance clients’ skills, independence, and social engagement.
• Conduct assessments to identify behavioural challenges and their underlying causes.
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to caregivers, families, and other professionals.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support strategies and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in line with organizational and NDIS guidelines.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic client care.
