The role involves managing a portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements and tax returns, and ensuring compliance with Australian tax rules while collaborating with a supportive, remote team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CA or CPA qualification or actively pursuing.
• 2–4 years' experience in Australian Public Practice (Business Services and Tax).
• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns across multiple entity types.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
• Prepare and review BAS, IAS and other compliance obligations.
• Assist with tax planning and identify tax-efficient opportunities for clients.
• Support business advisory and Virtual CFO engagements with the Principal.
• Liaise directly with clients and provide proactive advice and exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with ATO lodgement deadlines and legislation.
