Books Onsite in Australia offers a fully remote Part-time Accountant role for Intermediate & Senior level. You will prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS, supporting a range of tax and business advisory engagements for quality SME clients.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in Australian public practice, CA/CPA or in progress, and proficiency with Xero. Remote work with flexible, school-friendly hours is provided.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years Australian public practice experience.
• CA/CPA qualification or working towards completion.
• Confidence using Xero.
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative remote environment.
• Xero certification highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS.
• Support tax and business advisory engagements for SME clients.
• Work remotely with regular daily check-ins.
