Job summary

Icon Oncology Group seeks an Oncology Pharmacist to provide remote clinical pharmacy services to public hospital outpatient clinics across New South Wales, joining a specialised oncology team. The role focuses on safe, timely cancer treatment across metropolitan and regional sites.

The position offers structured training, exposure to complex cancer therapies, and a pathway to further develop clinical skills in a supportive environment. Monday to Friday with fixed late-day shifts will apply.

Qualifications

Valid AHPRA Pharmacist general registration with no restrictions.
Minimum 2 years pharmacist experience in Australia.
Australian working rights for duration of the contract.

Responsibilities

Coordinate cancer therapy supply for hospital inpatients and day oncology unit patients.
Develop and utilise clinical skills to improve outcomes for cancer patients.
Perform medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation.
Record clinical interventions.
Build relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
Educate and counsel staff, patients and allied health professionals.
