Job summary

Slade Pharmacy Mount Kuring-Gai, part of Icon Oncology Group, is looking for an Oncology Pharmacist on a full-time 12-month contract with potential transition to a permanent role. You will provide remote clinical pharmacy services to NSW public hospital outpatient clinics within a specialised oncology team, supporting cancer patients’ safe and timely treatment.

• Educate and counsel staff, patients and allied health professionals.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Slade Pharmacy Mount Kuring-Gai, on a full-time 12-month contract with genuine potential to transition into a permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for a community pharmacist looking to transition into clinical practice, or a hospital pharmacist seeking to specialise in oncology. You'll receive structured training, exposure to complex cancer therapies, and the opportunity to build highly sought-after clinical skills in a supportive environment.

About the Role

As an Oncology Pharmacist, you'll provide remote clinical pharmacy services to public hospital outpatient clinics across New South Wales. Working as part of a specialised oncology team, you'll help ensure cancer patients receive safe, timely and appropriate treatment, regardless of whether they are being treated in metropolitan centres or regional outreach clinics.

Shift details

Monday to Friday, with alternating weekly shifts:

• Week 1: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Week 2: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm

About You

We invite applications from early career pharmacists looking to gain clinical pharmacy experience and specialise in oncology pharmacy. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Essential requirements

• Valid AHPRA Pharmacist general registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 2 years pharmacist experience in Australia.
• Australian working rights that will remain valid for the duration of the contract.

Desirable skills & experience

• Experience in remote pharmacy roles.
• Familiarity with hospital, clinical or oncology pharmacy.
