Job summary

Exact Contracting Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee safety‑driven, cost‑effective maintenance on remote civil and mining projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead planning, resource coordination and on‑site supervision to ensure schedules are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Current drivers licence.
• Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade qualification.
• Previous supervisory/management experience.
• Experience maintaining Caterpillar, Hitachi mobile equipment; Kenworth and Mack Trucks and a wide range of ancillary gear.
• Civil/mining industry experience.
• Experience with and confident using Microsoft Office and maintenance related systems (MEX).
• Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation.
• Confident communication with the ability to liaise with employees, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Self-motivation with a positive attitude.
• Desire to work in remote locations.
• Hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance on site with safety-first approach.
• Plan and manage resources to complete schedules on time and within budget.
• Drive operational efficiencies in maintenance activities.
• Oversee mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment.
• Provide leadership and direction to teams on the ground.
