Sirrom Corp. is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead and hands-on manage catering teams in remote workforce villages across QLD.

You will deliver high-quality meals (breakfast, crib, lunch, dinner, desserts) while controlling costs, maintaining hygiene, and guiding a team through rotating night and day shifts. The role requires proven remote-site cooking experience, strong leadership and the ability to empower kitchen staff and dining room personnel to consistently meet standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience on a remote mine-site village or workforce camps.
• Bulk catering for 100–900 residents with breakfast, crib, dinner and desserts.
• On-the-tools Head Chef capable of leading and delivering high-quality service.
• Experience in remote locations and cyclic rosters (desirable).
• Ability to mentor kitchen staff and dining room team; empower for success.
• Strong food costing and stock control; manage ordering and wastage.
• Must hold a current Australian driver's license.
• Right to Work in Australia; Police Check; pass pre-employment medical & drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Provide breakfast, crib lunch, desserts or dinner on site (rotating night and day shifts).
• Ensure food presentation, product presentation and meal service meet Sirrom standards.
• Work within budgeted food costs; maintain minimal food wastage.
• Prepare and serve meals per menu and Sirrom guidelines; adhere to client requirements.
• Maintain strict health and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
