Alignerr Corp. seeks Mathematics Experts with advanced degrees to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models — crafting rigorous problems, testing mathematical reasoning, and ensuring AI can think with the depth real mathematics demands.

Work remotely on an hourly contract, 10-40 hours per week, with asynchronous collaboration with AI researchers. You’ll solve complex problems, review reasoning, and contribute to ongoing projects on flexible schedules and freelance autonomy.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or closely related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficient in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, solve, and review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and rigorous structure.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, solve, and critically review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance and rigorous structure
• Apply deep expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related fields to design complex, meaningful problem statements
• Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, depth, clarity, and logical soundness
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to identify gaps and improve model performance
• Ensure mathematical rigor and precision across all deliverables — catching errors that only a trained expert would spot
• Work independently on task-based assignments at your own pace and on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Hold a Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
• Deeply fluent in at least one core area: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
• Comfortable coding in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or problem-solving tasks
• Exceptionally precise in written communication — you can explain complex ideas with clarity and confidence
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and consistent when working independently
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in academic research, technical writing, or curriculum development
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts as an end user or researcher
• Experience working across multiple mathematical disciplines
