Job summary

Journey Beyond is seeking experienced Fishing Guides to join the Outback Spirit team at remote Arnhem Land lodges. You will deliver engaging fishing tours, lead guests of all levels, and share knowledge of tides, wildlife and local conditions.

These casual roles run during peak run-off and build-up seasons, with accommodation and meals provided. You will need Coxswain's ticket, NT Operators Licence, Remote First Aid and a Manual Driver's licence to apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in blue water or estuary fishing.
• Licences listed (Coxswain, NT Operators Licence, Remote First Aid, Driver's Licence) are required.
• Strong safety and guest-service focus for remote lodges.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and set a welcoming tone for each tour.
• Lead safe, informative fishing tours for guests of all abilities.
• Share knowledge of local fishing conditions, tides and wildlife.
• Educate guests on Arnhem Land ecosystems and wildlife.
• Ensure safety and correct use of fishing equipment at all times.
• Assist lodge operations during non-fishing periods.
