Job summary

Carers Queensland Rockhampton office is seeking a Local Area Coordinator to join the LAC PITC program, serving participants, the NDIS and the local community with empathy and a person-centred approach.

This full-time role runs until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension, offers work-from-home days up to two per week after probation, and a remuneration package of CSW4.1 at $92,279.20 per year plus 12% super.

Responsibilities

• Implement processes and plans using a person-centred approach.
• Deliver program-wide strategy to engage people with disability, government, business and community sectors.
• Assist with community capacity building projects to meet community needs with strategic long-term vision.
• Develop strategic, collegial and productive relationships, within and external to Carers Queensland, to ensure the best outcomes for clients, the program and the organisation.
• A full-time role (until 30 June 2027), with the possibility of extension!!! Work from home days available (up to 2 days per week once past probation depending on operational need) at our Rockhampton site.
• Attractive Remuneration Package ofCSW4.1 -$92,279.20 per annum (plus superannuation 12%).

The Carers Queensland Rockhampton office is looking for the right person to join our Local Area Coordinator team. If you are passionate, empathetic and compassionate, and can work in a fast-paced, goal oriented and agile setting, we want to hear from you!

About The Role

In this role you will be the key link between our participants, the National Disability Insurance Agency, and the community you live and work in. Our LACs are our front line serving the community by delivering the NDIS LAC PITC program. This role will have a focus on building and strengthening the capacity of people with disabilities (both NDIS participants and non-participants), their families and their carers.
