Job summary

CSG is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy our software products. You’ll collaborate with Business Analysts and customers to clarify requirements and deliver robust software using Java SE 8+, in a Linux/MacOS/Docker environment.

You will also work with SQL, PostgreSQL, MyBatis, Kafka, GraphQL, and REST APIs, while applying BPM/rules libraries such as Camunda/Activiti/Drools. Join a global team committed to quality and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in English in a business environment.
• 3+ years software development experience with modern Java SE (8+).
• Completely at home in a Linux/MacOS/Docker development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop software in accordance with agreed requirements.
• Interpret requirements with Business Analysts and customers to remove ambiguity.
• Develop unit tests for the software that meets the design.
• Execute tests, record deficiencies, and remediate.
• Develop deployment scripts and deploy to test/production.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to designs and risks.
• Mentor colleagues in areas of expertise.
• Contribute to knowledge capture systems and documentation.
