Job summary

InEight, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop and implement customer education experiences for our construction management software.

You’ll transform complex features into engaging learning through virtual instructor-led training, eLearning, videos and performance support materials. The role is part of the Customer Education team, collaborating with product and project delivery teams to align content with customer needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Instructional Design and Training.
• Bachelor's degree in Instruction Design or related field preferred.
• Strong skills in developing learning content that enables customers to effectively use complex software solutions.
• Intermediate video production skills (experience with Camtasia preferred).
• Intermediate to advanced skills producing eLearning content (experience with Articulate 360 preferred).
• Strong technical writing and visual design skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience developing content for and interacting with a Learning Management System.
• Creative problem‑solving skills to address learning challenges in innovative and meaningful ways.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify requirements and support design and production of training content.
• Identifying key learning objectives across a range of training and audience types.
• Taking ownership for design, development, refinement and evaluation of software training materials across modules and user roles.
• Authoring, editing and formatting scripts, storyboards, tutorials, facilitator guides and in‑app resources using MS Word, PowerPoint, and WalkMe.
• Developing interactive eLearning content including simulations and assessments using Articulate RISE and Storyline.
• Producing, editing and refining instructional videos using Camtasia and Wistia.
• Building instructional content for hands‑on practice labs using Skillable Studio.
• Publishing and maintaining content for our Learning Management System and online Knowledge Library.
