Job summary

The Shepherd Centre is seeking an experienced Individual Giving Manager on a 10-month, part-time contract (3–4 days per week) with flexible hours and remote options. Based in Newtown, NSW, you will lead Direct Marketing and Regular Giving campaigns, grow income, manage vendor relationships, and mentor the Individual Giving Coordinator to achieve ambitious targets.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in a fundraising role.
• Experience in implementing multichannel direct marketing campaigns.
• Experience in managing supplier relationships e.g. mail houses and agencies.
• CRM database experience, Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to acquire and retain supporters across Direct Marketing and Regular Giving channels.
• Achieve income targets through strategic campaign planning and execution.
• Lead end-to-end Direct Marketing acquisition and retention campaigns.
• Oversee Regular Giving lifecycle, with donor engagement and retention.
• Manage high-level relationships with vendors.
• Execute donor care strategies to build lasting relationships.
• Coach and inspire the Individual Giving team and foster a collaborative culture.
• Build and manage relationships with external vendors to ensure campaign success.
• Oversee budgeting for Individual Giving income and expenses.
• Analyse campaign performance and prepare post-campaign evaluations with actionable insights.
