Job summary

Workday is seeking a Solution Consultant specialising in Workforce Management and Payroll in Australia. You will be essential to the sales cycle, providing SME-level guidance to our team and to C-level HR executives.

You will bring deep HCM knowledge, payroll expertise, and ERP experience to demonstrations, design discussions, and discovery sessions, with travel requirements up to 50%+. This role blends technical depth with strategic sales support.

Qualifications

Excellent presentation and influencing skills for a C-level HR audience.
Deep knowledge of payroll and workforce management in HCM systems.
Subject matter expert in Workday and related HCM solutions.
Experience in pre-sales or payroll implementation contexts.
Willingness to travel 50%+.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical product presentations, demos, workshops, and seminars.
Craft design and implementation specifications for complex solutions.
Assist closure of sales opportunities by addressing questions on our solution and services.
Support qualification of prospects, demo criteria, PoC builds, and sales closures.
Support sales, marketing, technical, and channel objectives.
Assist sales in RFx responses.
Participate in discovery sessions to understand client processes and desired outcomes.
Utilise ERP knowledge to provide technical expertise during sales presentations.
Travel 50%+ as required.
