Job summary

Workday is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Consultant specializing in Workforce Management and Payroll to support the Sales team and influence C-level discussions. You will bring deep domain expertise in payroll and HCM to demonstrate value during presentations and proof of concept activities.

You will effect, guide, and accelerate deals by delivering technical validations, responding to RFxs, and shaping customer success strategies in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Presales and/or Services Consulting or other technical roles.
• 3+ years’ experience in HCM systems and/or processes
• Strong understanding of HR Management functional areas such as Core HCM, Time & Attendance, Rostering, Compensation, Payroll, Employee Engagement
• Exposure to SaaS HR solutions from Workday, Oracle and SAP would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Generative and Agentic AI as applied to the HR domain and experience in positioning embedded or built-on-AI solutions to business and technology stakeholders

Responsibilities

• The delivery of relevant technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
• Crafts detailed design and implementation specifications for sophisticated products/applications/solutions
• To assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services, and training.
• To support the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds and sales cycle closure plans.
• Supporting all sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives.
• To assist sales in the response to RFxs
• Participate in discovery sessions alongside sales to ask qualifying questions and understand struggles, current business processes, and ideal future state
• Uses in-depth ERP-product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations
• Ability to travel 50+% of the time
