Job summary

Pluralis Research is pioneering Protocol Learning, a decentralised approach to training AI with open access for individuals. As our Operations Associate, you will work directly with the CEO and Chief of Staff to coordinate meetings, travel, and events, and keep the administrative machinery running.

This hands-on, execution-first role offers an entry point into an AI startup for someone organized, fast, and eager to be exposed to every part of the business, from coordination to owning operational

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in administrative, coordination, executive support or operations.
• Experience in a funded startup Seed–Series B or VC/PE.
• Proven support for an executive team and operations.
• Proven events coordination experience.
• Clear, hand-written English (not generated by an LLM).
• Proficiency with Google Workspace; comfortable with Notion, Linear, Slack or Zulip; experienced with AI tools.
• Able to work across multiple time zones, including US hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings, dinners, travel and events for the CEO, investors, partners, researchers and candidates.
• Book and manage travel across Australia and the US, including conferences.
• Collaborate on offsites, conferences, Tech Talks and hosted dinners; manage logistics list.
• Handle administrative tasks: onboarding, equipment and tooling requests, expenses and invoices, vendor setup, document formatting, tidy Notion/Drive records.
• Build scalable systems using AI tools to automate workloads.
