Job summary

Cater Care is seeking a Site Manager to lead catering and accommodation services for remote mining villages across Australia. You will drive safety, service, and operational excellence while managing on-site teams and resources.

The role requires strong P&L discipline, leadership in a remote setting, and a dedication to providing a home-away-from-home experience for residents, with FIFO travel and rosters designed for quality of life.

Qualifications

Minimum proven leadership experience in remote or village settings.
Strong administrative skills and experience with accommodation reservation systems.
Solid financial acumen with a track record of managing P&L.
Commitment to exceptional customer service in a challenging environment.
Awareness of food safety practices and on-site safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Manage all site and contract-scoped catering and accommodation services.
Oversee accommodation reservation systems (VAMS, SAMS, RMS) smoothly.
Take responsibility for financial performance and cost controls.
Foster strong client relationships and deliver high customer service standards.
Lead, develop and mentor a on-site team.
Desirable: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, manual driver’s license, forklift ticket.
