Job summary

Alliance Airlines is seeking an Airport Manager to lead day-to-day operations at Cape Preston Airport on a 14/14 FIFO roster from Perth. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, safety, and delivering high service standards in a remote regional setting.

You will oversee terminal facilities, equipment and staff, and serve as the primary contact during audits and training coordination. ARO, MOS 139 and DG credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Prior airport management or ARO experience at an Australian airport.
• Current Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO), AROC and Dangerous Goods (DG) certifications.
• Knowledge of CASA regulations and MOS 139.
• Proven ability to manage teams and third-party suppliers.
• Strong communication, time management and decision-making skills.
• Physically fit and able to pass a mine site medical and regular tests.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of airport operations and facilities.
• Perform the role of Aerodrome Reporting Officer (ARO).
• Oversee Ground Service Equipment (GSE) maintenance.
• Ensure CASA regulations and MOS 139 compliance.
• Manage third-party suppliers including fuel providers.
• Coordinate and maintain training records for all airport staff.
• Conduct inspections and maintenance of the terminal and surrounding areas.
• Uphold OH&S, safety and environmental compliance.
• Respond to incidents and report via AQD system.
• Act as primary contact during audits, inspections and emergencies.
