Job summary

Hunt St, a specialist in connecting Australian firms with remote talent in the Philippines, is seeking an Estimator / Financial Coordinator for a Sydney-based client. This is a 100% remote independent contractor role combining estimating and back-end financial support to help deliver residential and commercial projects.

You'll prepare estimates, manage bookkeeping and invoicing, support builders and clients, and look for efficiencies using AI and other tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in estimating and financial support roles.
• Experience with SimPro is critical.
• Estimating experience across residential and/or commercial construction is critical.
• Familiarity with Ground Plan takeoff software is a bonus.
• Familiarity with Xero.
• Proactive, self-driven approach. Availability during Australian business hours.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project estimating and prepare high-level estimates.
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and invoicing.
• Support builders and clients with quotes and certificates.
• Improve workflows using AI tools and other automation.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape responsibilities over time.
