Job summary

Boeing in Brisbane is seeking a network and systems administrator to support the Battlespace Communication System (BCS) program. You will maintain Linux-based infrastructure, manage networking, and contribute to deployment and automation within a collaborative, agile environment.

Applicants should be Australian citizens with strong virtualization, IP networking, and scripting skills, and be prepared to work across development and facilities to sustain mission-critical software and hardware

Qualifications

• Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
• Knowledge and proven experience with Linux OS, system administration, virtualization and networking/IP stack.
• IP networks including routing, NAT, IPv4/IPv6, subnets, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VLAN/VxLAN.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux systems administration tasks (user accounts, provisioning, inventory, monitoring).
• Lead planning, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of complex networking environment.
• Create and maintain infrastructure and development environment docs.
• Deploy software to Systems Integration Facility and participate in code reviews and deployments.
• Contribute to environment automation using infrastructure as code and agile practices.
