Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Systems Administrator in Brisbane to support on‑premises server infrastructure, Active Directory, and hybrid Windows/Linux environments. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on reliability, security hardening, incident response, and delivering IT services to enable defence programs.

You will manage SCVMM and Hyper‑V, script with PowerShell or Bash, apply patching, and work with project teams to implement requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 3+ years of related work experience.
• Experience administering on-premises server environments.
• Experience with AD/LDAP, DNS/DHCP and identity lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer on-premises server infrastructure and storage.
• Maintain AD/LDAP services and secure user authentication.
• Manage SCVMM Failover Clusters and Hyper-V environments.
• Provide technical support to project teams and troubleshoot incidents.
• Patch and harden systems to protect data and services.
