Job summary

Cipher Recruitment is seeking an experienced Drupal Solution Architect to design secure, scalable digital solutions for government and enterprise clients. The role emphasizes Drupal architecture and delivery across the full digital lifecycle, from discovery to operational transition.

You will shape technology decisions, influence architecture, and lead multidisciplinary teams while ensuring security and governance alignment. Australian citizenship and baseline clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship required and baseline security clearance eligibility.
• Given government/enterprise focus, security compliance is essential.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent senior technical role.
• leadership of complex digital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for complex government and enterprise digital projects.
• Define end-to-end architecture across applications, data, cloud, and security with a Drupal focus.
• Lead discovery, technical discussions, and pre-sales activities.
• Translate business/user requirements into architectural solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across delivery teams.
• Guide technical leads and developers while owning overall solution architecture.
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and decisions.
• Embed security, privacy, resilience and accessibility requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, executives, and delivery stakeholders.
• Assess emerging technologies for cloud, AI, and open data opportunities.
• Support delivery assurance and operational transition.
