Job summary

Bridge IT Engineering is seeking a Senior Drupal Web Developer to join a high-profile Australian Government agency. You will lead development of enterprise Drupal platforms, build custom modules and ensure secure, accessible, user-centred digital services for Australians.

In collaboration with stakeholders, you will design, develop and maintain Drupal websites, lead code reviews, and work with security and procurement teams to meet technical standards and accessibility guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop and maintain Drupal websites, including custom module development and maintenance.
• Experience improving and managing a website's performance, security and analytics reporting.
• Ability to uplift managed platforms to meet accessibility, usability and user‑centred design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise Drupal websites and web applications.
• Develop and maintain custom Drupal modules and functionality.
• Enhance website performance, security, scalability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues relating to performance, caching, integrations and background processing.
• Lead code reviews and contribute to source control, testing and quality assurance processes.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security and vendor teams to ensure solutions meet technical standards and business requirements.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation and procurement requirements.
• Ensure websites comply with Australian Government accessibility, usability and user experience standards.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain Drupal websites, including custom module development and maintenance.
