Job summary

Sorelle Support is seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to empower participants to live independently in South Australia. You will deliver person-centred supports across daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, and community participation, helping clients achieve their individual goals.

You will work with diverse participants, including those with complex needs, providing safe, respectful care and transport to activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred supports empowering independence for participants.
• Assist with personal care when required.
• Support participants with daily living activities and routines.
• Prepare meals and perform light domestic tasks.
• Transport participants to appointments and activities.
• Support capacity building and life skills.
• Provide medication assistance where trained and safe.
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support Plans for behaviour support.
• Assist participants with complex needs as required.
