Job summary

UpGuard is seeking an SDR in Sydney to generate and qualify new opportunities and book meetings for Account Executives. You will be part of a driven team with an inquisitive mindset, a strong phone presence, and a passion for outbound prospecting.

The role supports a hybrid schedule with two days in the office and remote flexibility. You will work with sales, marketing, and product to refine processes and help drive growth.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably as an SDR/BDR.
• Strong phone sales skills.
• Proven track record exceeding sales metrics.
• Experience with outbound sales activities, including calls, social media engagement & email sequencing.
• Ability to give and receive feedback – collaborate with sales/marketing to drive improvements.
• High energy and willingness to learn.
• Strong prioritisation leading to efficient time management.

Responsibilities

• Generate new opportunities using outbound tactics (cold calling, email sequences, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Identify, target, and nurture potential outbound opportunities.
• Understand prospect needs and communicate them to Account Executives.
• Clearly articulate UpGuard’s value proposition and products.
• Take accurate notes in CRM/Sales Engagement Platform.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product to use insights for improvements.
