Job summary

The Future Generation Joint Venture invites applications for a Laboratory Technician to conduct tests on soils, concrete, shotcrete and rock in accordance with project specifications and NATA requirements.

You will operate and maintain testing equipment, record and report results, promote safety, and collaborate with engineers, project teams and construction crews to ensure accurate, timely quality testing on the Snowy 2.0 site in NSW.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a laboratory role within construction.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and NATA requirements.
• F Familiarity with construction materials testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests on soils, concrete, shotcrete and rock.
• Record, report and maintain documentation of test results.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and calibrate as required.
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to resolve testing issues.
