Job summary

Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) in Ceduna seeks a Community Support Worker for part-time, 0.5 FTE shifts in the Eyre Peninsula region. You will be part of a consumer-directed care model, delivering tailored support to help clients stay in their homes with independence.

Roles include assisting with daily living, household tasks, transport, and social activities, all performed with empathy and cultural awareness in a remote community setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting aged, frail, or people living with disability.
• Ability to work independently in a remote community setting.
• Strong communication and respect for diverse cultures.
• Understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Ceduna.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming and mobility in a respectful manner.
• Perform household tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and minor gardening.
• Provide reliable transport to appointments and community outings.
• Support social engagement and activities to contribute to each client's wellbeing.
