West Arnhem Regional Council in Jabiru, NT, seeks a Manager Community Services to lead planning, delivery and review of community programs across West Arnhem. You will manage a high‑performing team in Jabiru and remote communities, building strong stakeholder relationships and guiding budgets and reporting.

The role focuses on delivering outcomes for local participants in a remote environment, with evidence‑based service plans and strong compliance, governance and HR capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven community leadership in remote West Arnhem, representing Council professionally.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human services field, with strong legislative and compliance knowledge.
• Record of leading diverse teams and building a safe, positive and performance‑focused environment.
• Experience managing large grants, budgets, contracts and competing priorities across dispersed locations.
• Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills for diverse staff and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated HR experience in complex workplaces.
• Highly organised, adaptable and outcome‑focused, ensuring programs meet funding and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, delivery and review of community programs across West Arnhem, managing a high‑performing team in Jabiru and remote communities to deliver outcomes for local participants and communities.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, oversee large and complex budgets and reporting, and implement evidence‑based service plans that respond to emerging needs in a remote NT environment.
