Qualifications

5+ years’ PQE and admission to practice in Australia or New Zealand.
Strong commercial contracting experience, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements.
Experience with top-tier law firms or large corporate in-house teams; ability to manage matters independently.

Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (B2B, licences, supplier and technology).
Negotiate directly with customers, suppliers and counterparties.
Provide commercially focused legal advice balancing risk and business goals.
Build relationships with senior stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.
Support AI-enabled products and technology initiatives; develop templates and playbooks.
Collaborate with Pacific and international legal colleagues and manage external counsel when needed.
