Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific Australia is seeking a Clinical Research Associate (Level II) to monitor investigator sites and manage regulatory documentation. You will perform remote or on-site visits to ensure protocol adherence and data integrity, while maintaining effective communication with the project team.

This role requires a life sciences degree or nursing certification, plus experience in clinical monitoring and risk-based approaches.

Qualifications

• Proven clinical monitoring skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of medical/therapeutic area knowledge and medical terminology.
• Ability to attain and maintain a working knowledge of ICH GCPs, applicable regulations and procedural documents.
• Well-developed critical thinking skills including root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Ability to manage Risk Based Monitoring concepts and processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitors investigator sites with a risk-based monitoring approach and applies RCA to identify site issues.
• Ensures data accuracy through SDR, SDV and CRF review during monitoring activities.
• Documents observations in timely reports and correspondence.
• Escalates deficiencies to clinical management and follows through to resolution.
• Maintains regular contact with sites between visits and prepares trial status updates.
